What is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon?

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are dentists who have furthered their education with four years of additional, rigorous training in medicine, pathology, general anesthesia, and other surgical areas in addition to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Their intensive experience and practice is focused on the surgical aspects and care of the oral cavity and associated structures.

Drs. Englehardt and Vande Berg are diplomates of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
